Heather met Mark at an event at the Òran Mór in Glasgow & hit it off pretty much right away.  He was easy to talk to, quick to respond to emails & soon enough we were all together for a little engagement shoot.  It’s a fantastic deal that he offers you, some really great photos with a very friendly yet professional photographer.

We loved his style & how at ease he made us feel.  The results were so good that really, there was no other option for the wedding but to have him back.  He did not disappoint.  He was there all day, not being intrusive yet getting all the “behind the scenes” photos we could hope for.

He is very understanding of the pressures the bride is under on the big day & finds ways to ease any stresses that arise.  It was like having another guest, except one with a camera who organised us all into groups at times.  Everyone who has seen the photos he did for us has been very impressed & we are so glad to have such gorgeous mementos of our big day.  Mark realises the importance of the day but also manages to be chatty & fun.

We can’t wait to have some of his work hanging proudly on our walls & the walls of our family.  If you want the job done, get Mark to do it.

Regards,

Duncan & Heather

When Stephen and I started to look for a photographer for our wedding we didn't know what to expect!

I wanted someone to capture natural shots of the day to tell the story of our wedding and to guide us with their expertise!

We were having a small intimate wedding and didn't know how that would work with a photographer!

I found Mark after researching online and read the reviews of photo shoots and weddings he had done he was open and honest and was just starting to build up his wedding portfolio!

As soon as we met Mark at the pre wedding photo shoot he put us at ease straight away lovely guy genuine from the start. He said he would send on the shots he had taken and to get in touch if we were happy with them which of course we were.

My wedding photographs were natural and amazing and told the story of the wedding from start to the end. I had decided early on I didn't want an album was happy with the photos online however they turned out better than I could have hoped for and needless to say have now ordered an album and thanks to Mark he has helped put together and came up with ideas I would never have thought of!

I would highly recommend Mark he made all our guests feel at ease and if you have a look at his blog you will see the pictures and all genuine smiles!

Thank you Mark!

I found Mark on Instagram and immediately fell in love with his pictures. There is an amazing light to them and I liked how he composes his pictures.

We met him for a trial shoot in the woods near Glasgow and the chemistry between us was right from the beginning. He really made us feel at ease in front of the camera. He is very easy going and has a good sense of humour. For us it was clear straight away that we would have loved him to shoot our wedding.

After a couple of emails between him and my husband in which they talked about the location and possible picture opportunities on the way from the registry in 23 Montrose Street in Glasgow to The Bothy in the West End.

Our big day was finally here.
Mark met me at the hotel I got ready at. He took pictures of my dress, flowers and the ring. He also photographed me outside the hotel. He had great ideas on how to incorporate the buildings and streets. Again, he made me feel comfortable while taking pictures.

He then went to the registry to take pictures of the arriving guests, best man and husband. I didn't notice him at all during the ceremony and was really happy about the lovely pictures he took of us and our guests. We walked from the registry to Buchanan Street station to the subway with a couple of stops in between. The weather was on our side and the Glaswegians also were on their best behaviour :D. The ride on the subway went smooth and Mark took the opportunity of taking some unusual pictures in the subway stations.

Finally we arrived at The Bothy in the West End where we had our wedding reception. Mark took different group shots of us, best man, bride's maid and families. Although he made us pose here and there, we felt really comfortable and at ease with him. After shooting the reception room and our toasts, Mark said good bye.
I would definitely choose him again for shooting any special occasion. Thank you for capturing the most important and best day of our lives!
