Glasgow Wedding Photography

Òran Mór Wedding Fayre - 8th April 2018 - Wedding Exhibition Glasgow

I'm not a Wedding Fayre regular type of photographer, in fact the Òran Mór Wedding Fayre is the only one I've ever done! :) This was the third and just like the previous two, a very laid back affair with even more laid back suppliers. Loads of 'soon to be married' couples turned up to check out everyone's offerings, grab a cheeky glass of bubbles and take in some of the awesome live music! Here's a blast of images taken from throughout the day! May be you're in it! :)

Lisa & Scott - St Andrews in the Square, 1 St Andrews Square, Glasgow

Scott & Lisa tied the knot in St. Andrews in the Square, Glasgow, a restored 18th Century former church in the middle of Glasgow, a very impressive building both inside and out!
First I hit Garrowhill to hang out with the girls (and the guy!) while they all got prepared for the day and got beautified professionally having their hair and make-up done. Absolute stars all of them with Lisa very relaxed until towards the end of my visit where she had a little wobble of nerves! Always happens :)

After spending an good hour or so with them I headed off to the venue St. Andrews in the Square to get some shots of this beautiful building and it's interior before all the guests fill it for the ceremony. Then once Scott had arrived, him, myself and the lads went out for a walk to grab some shots of them all fully freshly kilted up and ready to go! Top boys, great laugh and the photos document the laugh we had!

2 p.m. saw the arrival of the stunning Lisa in a white Glasgow cab for the ceremony and away we went, what a great day, with a great atmosphere, totally relaxed and friendly venue staff, headed up by the lovely Sam and of course the awesome friends and family of  the all new Mr & Mrs Jordan!

Here are just a few of the photos from their big day :)

Jaclyn & Hazel - Boturich Castle - October 15th 2017

It was a rainy morning for Jaclyn & Hazel's big day at Boturich Castle, but not constant and with it, it brought beautiful moody grey skies with strong winds, winds which blew the clouds at such a pace it generated a different picturesque scene every few minutes. As you'll see though from this blog it actually dried up for the most part and the sun tried to make an appearance all day.

I hope you enjoy the moments I've captured and I'm sure they'll describe the day a lot better than me typing a blow by blow account of the day here in text. It was an absolute honour to be part of Jaclyn & Hazel's big day and I was made to feel so welcome by everyone! I have to say also that Jaclyn & Hazel's obvious love for each other was plain to see, the coming together of two awesome people without a doubt and long may it continue! #wifeforlife #loveislove ;)

Duncan & Heather

I met Heather at the Oran Mor wedding open day in Glasgow and had a great little chat to her regarding her big day. Herself and husband to be Duncan have gone all spontaneous and given themselves 3 months to organise everything ! They're doing it all under one roof in the absolutely stunning Alexander House, Auchterarder in mid July.

After our little chat and a quick flick through my albums Heather (who was flying solo due to a certain football game lol) went off to discuss everything with Duncan. They decided to take me up on my offer of a free couple shoot, which allows them to see if I am indeed the man for the job and more importantly that we all got on well enough to proceed to booking stage.

When we met for the couple shoot they were dressed in a somewhat vintage fashion, in great spirits and raring to go ! That being said it was a very lively shoot with plenty of laughs. (I must say though, all of the couples I've worked with up until now have been really cool and I'm yet to experience a 'Bridezilla' touch wood :) )

Here are some images from the shoot, we walked all the way down to the Roman Bridge by Strathclyde Park this time which was great. I've since delivered the full collection to both Heather & Duncan and they have decided to proceed with the booking, I think the worst part for me is the time from sending the pictures to receiving a decision, it could totally go either way as photography is so subjective, I'm really pleased they chose me though, it'll be a fantastic day I'm sure :)
